Our concert on Sunday, 3rd November will open with Haydn String Quartet in D Major Op 64 no 5 (The Lark) played by Mercury Strings.

Mercury Strings are a professional string quartet based in the North of England and comprised of four professional freelance musicians who perform regularly with orchestras such as the Halle, BBC Philharmonic Orchestra and Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra to name a few, as well as solo performances and recording work for TV and radio.
Alexandra Stemp violin, Susan Voss violin, Jayne Coyle viola and Esther Harriott cello all share a passion for the music especially written for string quartet and constantly strive to share the excitement and emotion of live performance to a wide variety of audiences.
